Kiehl’s Launches Hydration Ski-Thru for Slopeside Skincare

Kiehl’s is bringing skincare to the summit this season with the launch of its Hydration Ski-Thru, a G7 conceived and produced ski-up experience delivering “Ultra Hydration for All Elevations.”

The activation debuted at Palisades Tahoe in California on February 13–14, turning a high-traffic mountain stop into a fully branded moisture check station. Skiers were able to glide directly up to the installation, where they received a personalized skin hydration reading before applying Kiehl’s iconic Ultra Facial Cream. After application, guests tested their moisture levels again and saw real-time hydration results designed for high-altitude conditions.

G7 designed the experience to integrate naturally into mountain culture while maintaining Kiehl’s premium aesthetic. Branded skis, a reflective mirror wall, and a striking oversized Ultra Facial Cream factice tipped over with snow pouring out created a bold visual moment against the alpine backdrop.

Throughout the day, brand ambassadors took to the slopes distributing Ultra Facial Cream samples and inviting skiers to stop by for their moisture check. As the afternoon transitioned into après-ski, the installation became a photo-ready destination. Guests scanned an on-site QR code to receive branded premiums, including Kiehl’s neck gaiters, along with additional samples.

Following its debut in California, the Hydration Ski-Thru also activated at Stratton Mountain in Vermont on February 27–28 and Deer Valley in Utah on March 13–14, bringing high-performance hydration directly to skiers across three major mountain destinations.
